I could give a million tips as a veteran but I'm hopeing some other veterans will post on this thread with tips as well. And because of the large amount of units, you have a large variety of choices to counter each thing
In wargame however there are hundreds of units that each serve their own unique rolls, and the key is learning the units names so you know what to counter with what. Actual gameplay should be easy for someone with micromanaging skills, and some familiarity with strategy games. This should make seeing and micro-managing your units easier.Īs a veteran, I personally believe the most difficult thing for a new player to learn is the names of units. The above settings should make your game play look like this. And Hud/Label/Minimap sizes as small as possible, to give you an easier time micro-managing your units. So I recommend changing your interface settings so that your Label Settings are : European Escalation. I find the wargame red dragon visual system to be to much of a screen hog. The first tip I have is a visual settings tip. I made this post for veteran players to assist some of the new players who just recently bought the game.
